Adaeze graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Biology and Medical Anthroplogy. During her time at UNC, she had the opportunity to contribute to Dr. Keely Muscatell’s Social Neuroscience and Health Lab. There, she explored the fascinating realm of interdisciplinary methods and theories to investigate how social interactions impact physiological responses. Adaeze’s primary focus lies in understanding how culture shapes individual psychology, spanning from everyday decision-making to mental well-being. Her interests in medicine, psychology, and culture converge beautifully in her research pursuits.
